30s Man Arrested for Women's Underwear Theft
The Takasaki Police Station in Gunma Prefecture has arrested Hideaki Matsumoto (37), an unemployed man, on suspicion of stealing one piece of women's underwear from a carport at a residence in Takasaki City in March of this year. Matsumoto admitted to the charges during police questioning, stating that he 'had an interest in women's underwear.' Police discovered approximately 90 additional items of women's underwear at his residence.
Repeated Thefts Since Last Summer, Further Investigation Underway
Matsumoto confessed to having stolen panties and bras from residences in Takasaki City since last summer. He was previously arrested last month for stealing underwear from the same residence involved in the current case. Police are investigating Matsumoto's potential involvement in other underwear theft incidents.
