Trailer Rear Section Crashes into House, Injuring 70s Woman
Trailer Accident in Residential Area
On April 7, around 7 AM, a trailer crashed into a house in a residential area of Midori City, Gunma Prefecture. CCTV footage shows the green-covered rear section of the trailer veering off course while the vehicle was navigating a curve, subsequently ramming into the house. A resident nearby described the impact as 'tremendous, like an earthquake' and felt 'something had plunged in'.
70s Woman Injured, Police Investigation Underway
A 70-year-old woman who lived alone in the affected house was performing light exercises on her bed at the time of the accident. She reported being awakened by a loud noise, 'like a plane crashing,' and found her home filled with dust, making it impossible to see. The woman sustained a back injury and has been hospitalized. The trailer driver was unharmed. Police are currently investigating the precise cause of the accident, including why the trailer's rear section unexpectedly detached.
