Suspect arrested for attempted arson at OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's home
A 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with attempted murder and attempted arson after throwing an incendiary device at OpenAI CEO Sam Altman's home and damaging the San Francisco headquarters.

Daniel Moreno-Gama, a 20-year-old from Texas, has been charged with throwing an incendiary device at the home of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. Surveillance footage released by the FBI appears to show the suspect throwing what is believed to be a Molotov cocktail at the residence. Moreno-Gama later allegedly struck the glass doors of OpenAI's San Francisco headquarters with a chair.
Suspect Arrested and Anti-AI Stance
Moreno-Gama was arrested at the scene, and no one was injured. According to the FBI, he is alleged to have authored documents opposing AI and advocating for the killing of CEOs and investors of AI companies. He now faces attempted murder and attempted arson charges.
