US Attorney Craig Missakian revealed that a search of Moreno-Gama's residence uncovered incendiary devices, kerosene, a lighter, and a document he authored. This document contained views opposing AI and AI executives, reflecting the author's intent to kill or attempt to kill the CEO. Court documents indicate that Moreno-Gama believed humanity faced an 'impending extinction' due to AI risks. He also reportedly went to OpenAI's headquarters and threatened to burn down the building.
