PM Modi Inaugurates Noida International Airport, Boosting Western Uttar Pradesh
New Horizons for Western Uttar Pradesh
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated the Noida International Airport, emphasizing its immense benefits for the western Uttar Pradesh region. He stated that the airport would bring significant advantages to farmers, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and youth in areas like Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Etawah, Bulandshshahr, and Faridabad. Modi highlighted the airport as a symbol of 'Viksit Uttar Pradesh' (Developed Uttar Pradesh) and a testament to India's new resolve.
India's Resilience Amid Global Crises
Modi acknowledged the global crisis stemming from war, which has led to shortages of food, fuel, and gas, particularly impacting countries in West Asia. Despite these challenges, India has maintained its rapid growth trajectory. He affirmed the government's commitment to shielding common people and farmers from the crisis's burden, actively working to secure essential resources like crude oil and gas domestically.
Infrastructure Development Fuels Progress
The Prime Minister also highlighted several recent infrastructure projects, including the groundbreaking of a major semiconductor factory in Noida and the progress of the Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat Train and Meerut Metro extension, enhancing smart connectivity. Modi emphasized that these projects, driven by the 'double-engine government,' are propelling Uttar Pradesh's development. He added that the Jewar Airport will connect all of North India to the rest of the world.
