Gas Station Office Burgled and Cash Stolen
On March 25, 2026, around 4:30 AM, two men broke into the office of Yoshida Oil Kanancho SS gas station in Kanancho, Osaka Prefecture. The individuals used a tool resembling a crowbar to smash the glass door and unlock it, gaining entry into the office. The intruders ransacked the office and are believed to have stolen approximately 500 yen in cash from the register.
Damage and Police Investigation
According to the gas station owner, the amount of money in the register at the time of the break-in was small, resulting in minimal monetary loss. However, the office interior was significantly disarrayed, and glass fragments were scattered widely. The police are treating this as a theft case and are currently pursuing the two suspects, who are reportedly still at large.
