Stalking Murder Suspect's Identity Revealed
The Gyeonggi Bukbu Provincial Police Agency has publicly disclosed the identity of Kim Hoon (44), the suspect in a stalking murder case. Following a deliberation by the identity disclosure review committee, his name, age, and photograph were released. Kim Hoon is accused of murdering a woman in her 20s in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, on March 14. At the time of the crime, Kim Hoon was wearing an electronic ankle monitor, which he reportedly cut off before fleeing after the murder.

The police stated that the decision to disclose Kim Hoon's identity was made because "the crime was cruel, the damage was significant, there is sufficient criminal evidence, and it serves the public interest." The victim was reportedly a woman in her 20s whom Kim Hoon had been stalking.
