WINGGATE and Konishi Mokei Partner for UAV and Robot Control Systems

WINGGATE and Konishi Mokei (inheriting the JR PROPO brand) have signed a joint development agreement for next-generation unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and robot control systems. This project focuses on developing smart propos for UAVs, FOC (Field Oriented Control) servos, and robot servos. WINGGATE will contribute its expertise in UAV development and operation, while Konishi Mokei will bring JR PROPO's control technology to create high-performance, Japan-originated control systems.

Advanced Technology Integration and Market Expansion Goals

The jointly developed smart propo for UAVs will enhance operability, visibility, and expandability, reflecting feedback from drone operators, and will improve compatibility with JR PROPO ELITE. The FOC servo is designed for high-efficiency and high-precision control, targeting applications in gimbals, payload control, and various unmanned mobile platforms. Furthermore, robot FOC servos will be developed to offer high torque, durability, and precision for industrial and special environment robots, aiming to create new value in the expanding robotics market.

Project to be Showcased at Japan Drone 2026

Coinciding with the launch of this joint development project, WINGGATE will exhibit at Japan Drone 2026, Japan's largest drone exhibition, starting June 4, 2026. WINGGATE plans to introduce the next-generation UAV control system development project, alongside its Atlas series and TETHER power supply system. This initiative is expected to be a significant step in reducing dependence on overseas products and strengthening domestic technological capabilities in Japan's drone and robotics industries.
