China's AGIBOT announced on the 21st that it collaborated with Indonesian AI accelerator ASIX to unveil a humanoid robot at a cultural event in Jakarta. The robot performed as an emcee, calligrapher, dancer, and interacted with visitors, showcasing its potential for use in cultural and entertainment fields. Notably, the humanoid robot 'AGIBOT A2' demonstrated writing 'Tea for Harmony' alongside a human calligrapher. AGIBOT aims to expand implementation opportunities in the Indonesian market, using such cultural events as an entry point.

Seeking Expansion of Applications Across Diverse Sectors

AGIBOT, in collaboration with ASIX, plans to explore the use of humanoid robots not only for cultural and entertainment purposes but also in production sites and commercial facilities. The company envisions applications such as loading and unloading on production lines, industrial transportation, logistics sorting, facility guidance, retail support, customer service at service points, security patrols and inspections, and commercial cleaning. AGIBOT is a company specializing in 'embodied intelligence,' combining physical AI with robotics technology. It develops integrated robot systems for dialogue, tasks, and mobility, having produced over 10,000 units worldwide by March 2026.
