Distribution of national stockpiles of medical gloves, which had been in short supply due to the situation in Iran, began on the 23rd. At the Tennoz Parkside Building Dental Clinic in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo, 2,000 medical gloves from the national reserve arrived around 1 PM. The clinic's director stated that while they usually purchase gloves through online shopping sites, the increasing number of 'out of stock' notifications had made it difficult to conduct treatments. She added that checking purchasing sites daily had become a significant burden.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, over 2,000 medical institutions are currently targeted for distribution, and the total number of gloves to be delivered is expected to exceed 1 million.
