Israeli Strikes Kill 10 in Lebanon, Including Paramedics; Condemned as International Law Violation
Israeli Strikes Result in Civilian Deaths in Lebanon
Lebanon's health ministry announced on Friday that Israeli strikes in Lebanon killed 10 people, including six paramedics and one child, within 24 hours. The ministry condemned these attacks as violations of international law, further straining a US-brokered ceasefire.
Further Airstrikes and Evacuations
Additional airstrikes were reported from Friday night into Saturday. An AFP correspondent in the southern city of Tyre heard two blasts: one as a building on the outskirts was struck, and another within the city, causing plumes of smoke. Earlier, officials used loudspeakers to urge residents to evacuate the neighborhood. Israel stated its strikes targeted Hezbollah infrastructure sites and militants.
