US Military Strikes Narco-Vessel in Eastern Pacific
The US Southern Command announced that on April 24, it carried out a strike on an alleged drug-trafficking vessel in the Eastern Pacific Ocean, resulting in two deaths. The vessel was reportedly operating on known narco-trafficking routes and was linked to a designated terrorist organization. The strike was ordered by General Francis L. Donovan, commander of US Southern Command.
Intensified Efforts Against Drug Trafficking
This operation is part of the intensified US efforts against drug trafficking in the region, which began last September. During this period, at least 163 individuals involved in drug trafficking have been apprehended.
