Lai Chau Province Conducts AI Application Training
On the morning of April 24, 2026, the Department of Science and Technology of Lai Chau Province organized an Artificial Intelligence (AI) application training course for provincial officials and civil servants at the Doan Ket District Cultural Conference Center. This initiative is a practical step towards realizing key policies and directions for digital transformation promoted by the central government and the province, aiming to build a modern digital government. Pham Quang Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, chaired the meeting, which was attended by representatives from MISA Software Company and numerous provincial officials.

In his opening remarks, Deputy Director Pham Quang Cuong emphasized the growing importance of AI in management, administration, and public service delivery. This training course is expected to not only raise awareness among civil servants but also equip them with practical skills to actively utilize and effectively apply new technologies in their work. The training was conducted in accordance with Plan No. 978/KH-UBND, which implements the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee Plan No. 32-KH/TU dated January 9, 2026, and the Provincial People's Committee Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated February 6, 2026. The program offered a systematic and comprehensive introduction to AI and virtual assistants, from basic concepts to development trends and application cases in the public sector, specifically highlighting the role of AI in administrative reform through solutions like automating work processes, optimizing data management and utilization, and assisting with rapid and accurate information retrieval. This is expected to contribute to improving the quality of services for citizens and businesses.
