Mitsubishi Corp. Subsidiary MCD3 to Showcase PL-Linked Simulation AI at 'AI & Artificial Intelligence EXPO'
Participation in AI Expo and Solution Unveiling
MCD3, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation, will participate in the '10th AI & Artificial Intelligence EXPO [Spring]' held from April 15 to 17, 2026, at the Tokyo Big Sight West Exhibition Hall. MCD3 plans to showcase its total AI implementation solution for large enterprises, built upon practical knowledge gained from industrial sites such as logistics, energy, and distribution.
Presenting Profit-Generating AI Use Cases and Roadmap
MCD3 aims to move beyond traditional DX (Digital Transformation) focused solely on efficiency. Instead, it will unveil AI use cases and a roadmap for generating profits in core management areas like investment decisions and supply-demand adjustments. The company will emphasize its implementation capabilities to help resolve common issues faced by many businesses, such as unclear monetization and being stuck at the PoC (Proof of Concept) stage despite the proliferation of generative AI.
Demonstrating P/L-Linked Simulation AI
At the MCD3 booth, a demonstration of P/L (Profit and Loss) direct simulation AI, combining generative AI with advanced algorithms, will be presented. Two main use cases highlighted are advanced investment decision-making and business portfolio optimization. This system leverages AI to instantly simulate the impact of capital investments and new ventures on ROI (Return on Investment) and EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) to expedite decision-making, and to predict profitability across various market fluctuation scenarios to support data-driven management.
