Grand Ceremony Honors Yellow Emperor
In Shaanxi Province, China, a grand ceremony was held during the Qingming Festival to honor Huangdi, also known as the Yellow Emperor. He is regarded as the legendary founding ancestor of the Chinese nation and a symbolic common ancestor of Chinese people. The ceremony followed traditional rituals, featuring the tolling of bells, ceremonial music, and choreographed performances inspired by ancient Chinese aesthetics, paying tribute to a civilization spanning more than 5,000 years.
Unity and Shared Future
More than 400 guests from Chinese mainland, Taiwan region, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, and overseas gathered for the event. Dignitaries presented flower baskets in tribute, bowing in respect, symbolizing a shared honoring of the past while looking toward a common future. The gathering emphasized cultural connection and remembrance among Chinese people globally.
