Seongju County Holds Special Lecture to Enhance AI Utilization
Seongju County held a special lecture titled 'AI Utilization Methods for Seongju Citizens in the Era of AI' for about 200 residents at the county hall auditorium on April 3. This education program was organized as part of the 2026 Gyeongbuk Provincial University Seongju Campus project. It aimed to enhance residents' practical experience and utilization capabilities of AI, proactively responding to the rapidly changing Artificial Intelligence Transformation (AX) era.
Generative AI Concepts and Practical Sessions Draw Positive Response
Professor Jeong Hyun-mo from Gyeongbuk Science University, who delivered the lecture, easily introduced the concept and platforms of generative AI, demonstrated practical use cases of mobile Chat GPT, and discussed safe and smart AI living, receiving a positive response from attendees. Participants learned effective AI questioning techniques and experienced solving daily tasks such as planning travel itineraries and creating personalized meal plans using AI. Notably, a 'create your own picture' practical session further enhanced the enjoyment of the lecture by allowing participants to personally confirm the fun and convenience AI offers in daily life.
A Seongju County official stated that this education served as an opportunity for residents to recognize AI not merely as a tool but as a crucial technology that can bring change to their lives and work. The official added that Seongju County would continue its multifaceted efforts to establish itself as a leading AI local government.
