Hong Kong's Financial Budget this year proposed a comprehensive AI training program for all citizens. Disseminating AI Knowledge Through Television Broadcasts
The Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau elaborated on the concept of promoting public AI training during a press conference for the 2026-2027 Financial Budget, detailing measures to advance innovation and technology. As a flagship initiative of this training, 'AI Lecture Hall' is set to officially commence on May 9 during prime time on free-to-air television channels. The eight-episode series will cover various critical aspects of AI, leveraging television's broad reach to transform complex technological knowledge into easily understandable content, with renowned local experts and academics serving as lecturers.
