After a long day, Bangkok residents spend their evenings attending live music performances held in the city's green spaces. The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has introduced monthly free musical performances in various parks, offering a diverse range of genres from jazz and orchestral music to Thai and contemporary music.
'Music in the Park' Across Key Locations
The recent event, held at Lumpini Park, featured the Bangkok Big Band and a famous Thai singer from the popular Thai pop-soul band, Jetset'er. These performances are not limited to Lumpini Park but also take place in other prominent parks in the heart of Bangkok, including Benchakitti Park, Benchasiri Park, Wachirabenchathat Park, and Rama 8 Park. Citizens can escape city stress and soak up the sounds in Bangkok's favourite parks.
