'DigiLog AI+' Strategy and Vision
Sejong University is pursuing its 'DigiLog AI+' strategy with the goal of fostering AI-centric creative convergence talent for the future society. This initiative is a core component of Sejong University's 'Vision 2035', focusing on cultivating individuals proficient in AI and AI utilization (AX). Specifically, the university aims to specialize in nurturing AI-AX creative talent essential for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. To achieve this, it is actively enhancing AI-related education and expanding infrastructure. Currently, AI education is offered across four colleges and 16 departments.
Convergence Education System and Achievements
Sejong University has established an education system that integrates AI with real-life applications through 'The DigiLog Sejong'. In 2024, the university launched specialized AI departments, including AI Data Science, AI Robotics, and AI Software. By 2026, it further strengthened interdisciplinary convergence education through specialized joint majors in areas like AI Data Science and AI Robotics. Furthermore, in collaboration with SK Telecom, Sejong University operates industry-academia tracks for training AI experts, fostering talent in cutting-edge AI technology fields such as AI semiconductors, XR content, and ICVFX. These efforts have resulted in Sejong University being ranked among the top 251-300 globally and 8th in Korea in the 2026 THE World University Rankings, reflecting its recognized educational capabilities.
