Senator Cotton hailed the military operations against Iran as a smashing success but strongly criticized the American media's negative coverage of these efforts. He remarked that the media appears to be rooting against the success of U.S. troops' mission, likening it to criticizing Eisenhower two weeks after D-Day for not yet being in Berlin. Cotton added that even Iran's Arab neighbors, traditionally seeking peace, are now aligning with the United States in this coalition, suggesting that only American liberals are taking Iran's side, which he finds very disheartening.
