Siheung City Joins AI-Based Civil Complaint Analysis System
Siheung City announced on the 15th that it attended a pilot institution meeting on the 'Establishment of a Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Based Public Communication and Civil Complaint Analysis System' hosted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission. During the meeting, Siheung City shared its operational status and on-site experience with AI-based civil complaint services. This gathering aimed to review the practical application of the pilot service, which has been in operation since February 5, and gather feedback for improvements.
Enhancing Efficiency in Handling Frequent and Duplicate Complaints with AI
Representatives from pilot institutions, including the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and Incheon Metropolitan City, attended the meeting. The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission developed the system to enable AI to analyze large-scale civil complaint data accumulated in the National Sinmungo (National e-People) for more efficient use in administrative settings, providing AI services tailored to each institution's characteristics. Siheung City, in particular, is piloting the 'Batch Processing Service for Frequent and Duplicate Complaints' in collaboration with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and Incheon Metropolitan City, stating that AI's automatic identification and grouping of similar complaints help enhance work efficiency in the complaint handling process.
