On Friday evening around 6:35 PM, a four-vehicle crash occurred on Hong Kong's Yuen Long Highway. The accident involved two buses, a truck, and a car, and as of 8 PM, a total of 21 people sustained injuries, according to the police. The injured include 12 women and 9 men, all of whom suffered minor injuries.
Traffic Control Measures
Traffic disruptions ensued following the accident. The Transport Department announced around 8 PM that sections of the Tuen Mun-bound lanes on Yuen Long Highway near Pok Oi Hospital were closed to all traffic due to the incident. A slip road from the highway to Shap Pat Heung was also affected by the closures.
