Kuwait Airport Drone Attack Footage Released, Iran Denies Involvement
Kuwait International Airport Releases Drone Attack Footage
On June 4, Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) released a video showing Kuwait International Airport in Farwaniya province being hit by a drone attack the previous day. According to the DGCA's caption on X (formerly Twitter), the Kuwait International Airport Terminal 1 was attacked by an Iranian offensive drone on June 3, 2026, causing widespread and severe damage to lives and property. The footage captures a drone, similar to Iran's 'Shahed' suicide drone, rapidly approaching the building's roof, followed by a large explosion and a massive plume of smoke rising into the sky.
Casualties Reported, Iran Denies Responsibility
According to Kuwaiti media, the attack resulted in the death of 54-year-old Indian national Manzoor Ahmed Rehman and injuries to 63 others. The Indian Embassy in Kuwait later confirmed the death of the Indian national. Meanwhile, Al Jazeera reported that in a statement issued on the morning of June 4, a spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) denied allegations that the attack was carried out by the IRGC.
