Qualcomm Unveils 700 TOPS AI Robotics Platform at COMPUTEX 2026
Qualcomm Targets Robotics Market with New AI Platform
Qualcomm is set to unveil its new 'Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ10 Robotics Reference Design (RRD)' at COMPUTEX 2026. This platform integrates hardware, software, AI tools, and sensor interfaces, targeting the industrial robot, autonomous mobile robot (AMR), and humanoid robot markets. Qualcomm anticipates that this ready-to-deploy, full-stack robotics platform will accelerate development teams from prototyping to mass production, reducing system integration complexity and development costs.
High-Performance AI Computing and Advanced Sensor Support
The 'Dragonwing IQ10 RRD' is built on the Qualcomm Dragonwing IQ10 processor, delivering up to 700 TOPS of AI computing performance. It features an 18-core Qualcomm Oryon CPU, multi-core NPU, and GPU architecture, enabling direct on-device AI perception, inference, and planning capabilities without additional AI accelerators. For sensing, the platform natively supports up to 12 GMSL2 cameras and integrates multi-modal sensors like LiDAR, Time-of-Flight (ToF), and IMUs, enhancing robot navigation, localization, and autonomous decision-making.
