Nvidia Introduces High-Performance Humanoid Robot 'GR00T'
Nvidia unveiled its humanoid robot, 'NVIDIA GR00T', at the 'GTC Taipei 2026' event. This robot is equipped with the Jetson Thor vehicle computing module, boasting a computational capability of 2070 FP4 TFLOPS. It also features a 14-core Arm CPU and 128GB of memory, providing advanced processing power. Technical Features and Configuration of 'GR00T'
The GR00T robot's body is based on the Unitree H2 Plus and possesses a total of 31 degrees of freedom. Notably, its hands utilize Sharpa's five-finger system, achieving 22 degrees of freedom for intricate movements. The robot integrates the GR00T 1.7 software model, which supports data generation and strategy verification, demonstrating its potential for learning and adapting in various environments.
