Shenzhen International Cultural Industries Fair Promotes Global Cooperation

The China International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) in Shenzhen has unveiled its first-ever Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) exhibition zone this year. This zone offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience products and cultures from various APEC member economies, providing a 'round-the-world in one day' experience. From Korean black garlic and Singaporean beef jerky to Vietnamese coffee, Chilean wine, and Malaysian handicrafts, the diverse array of goods and cultural experiences captivated attendees. The fair spans a wide range of sectors, from food and lifestyle brands to handicrafts and creative products, aiming to strengthen international cooperation through cultural exchange.

Shenzhen Emerges as a Gateway for Global Brands into the Chinese Market

Participants at the fair praised the APEC exhibition zone as a crucial platform for cultural and economic exchange between China and other nations. Shenzhen, in particular, is increasingly becoming an important gateway for global brands entering the Chinese market, facilitating the convergence of different lifestyles in a shared space. Ye Ruiyan, an exhibitor from MAYCHAM China, stated, "Upon learning that the APEC meeting would be held in Shenzhen this year, we quickly organized our participation." She added, "We have received many inquiries, and our goal is to establish stronger cultural ties between Malaysia and China." Nguyen Viet Dung, Consul General of Vietnam in Guangzhou, emphasized that the fair provides an excellent opportunity for China to showcase Vietnam's rich and diverse culture, serving as a vital platform for cooperation.
