Palm Beach Airport Renamed 'President Donald J. Trump International Airport'
Palm Beach International Airport Renamed in Honor of Former President Trump
Palm Beach International Airport in Florida is set to be officially renamed the President Donald J. Trump International Airport. This change follows Governor Ron DeSantis's signing of the legislation in March, and the Palm Beach County's 4-3 vote to approve a trademark and licensing agreement with the Trump family business. The airport will feature a new logo, including a golden eagle holding olive branches and a shield of stars and stripes, reflecting the new nomenclature.
Trump-Themed Merchandise and Future Projects
Under the agreement, the Trump Organization will have rights over biographical material displayed at the airport, airport publications, and merchandise hand-picked by the family business. Speaking at the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches last week, President Trump expressed great pleasure about the renaming, stating the airport would become "bigger and better." Notably, the Trumps will not profit from items sold at the airport itself, but only from those sold off-site. Other projects in the works or planned include the "Trump-Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts," the "Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace," a commemorative one-dollar coin, and an arch leading to Arlington National Cemetery, nicknamed the "Arc de Trump."
