In another instance, a 60-year-old female patient sought consultation after experiencing her first vascular occlusion and necrosis following a hyaluronic acid injection in her forehead a month prior. Medical professionals diagnosed that hyaluronic acid had blocked blood vessels, causing partial skin necrosis. As the number of patients seeking treatment for cosmetic surgery complications grows, the importance of addressing these issues in the medical field is also increasing.
