On the night of April 25, 2026, a shooting incident occurred at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in Washington. A gunman attempted to rush into the ballroom of the Washington Hilton Hotel, where the dinner was being held. Authorities believe the assailant intended to target President Donald Trump and top members of his administration. The incident resulted in chaotic scenes and shots being fired.
Suspect Identified and Investigation Underway
The suspect has been identified by law enforcement officials as Cole Thomas Allen, a 31-year-old from Torrance, California. He was tackled to the ground while attempting to enter the ballroom.
