Israeli Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound After Reopening
Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound Reopens, Israeli Settlers Enter
Israeli settlers were seen entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem shortly after it reopened following a 40-day closure. The video shows several Israeli settlers walking through the compound, with some singing in Hebrew. Israeli settlers have previously entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, one of Islam's holiest sites, leading to heightened tensions with Palestinians.
'Temple Mount' Administrator Comments on the Entry
Rabbi Shimshon Elboim, head of the "Temple Mount Administartion," expressed his happiness and excitement regarding the entry. He stated, "I am very happy and excited for the first group of Jews to enter the Temple Mount (the biblical name for Al-Aqsa Mosque) after 40 days of being barred from being here." He added, "This is a moving and joyful moment, and with God's help we will soon see all the people of Israel ascending here." This statement reflects the Israeli perspective on Jewish access to the Temple Mount.
