Generative AI's Core Challenge: Practical Utility & Trust
Generative AI's Core Challenges for Societal Adoption Emerge
For generative artificial intelligence (AI) services to firmly establish themselves across society, experiencing practical utility beyond initial curiosity is essential. Furthermore, resolving reliability-hindering factors such as hallucinations has emerged as a key challenge. These findings were presented in the 'Exploratory Study on Antecedent Factors for Generative AI Service Adoption' report, published by the Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) on the 2nd. The report noted generative AI's rapid spread due to its excellent content creation capabilities.
KISDI Report Analyzes Factors for Sustained Use and Discontinuation
The KISDI report provides an in-depth analysis of the factors influencing the sustained use and discontinuation of generative AI services. This research focuses on identifying the drivers that encourage users to continue using services, as well as the factors that lead them to stop, going beyond mere technical performance. This study is expected to be an important resource for exploring ways to integrate generative AI more deeply into various sectors of society.
