Attempted Robbery at Shinjuku Pawn Shop

Metropolitan Police Department announced the arrest of three men, Naoki Tajima (27), Reo Ishizawa (21), and Shoya Hiyoshi (21), in connection with an attempted robbery at a pawn shop in Kabukicho, Shinjuku Ward, last month on October 10. The suspects, in collaboration with accomplices, allegedly broke into the pawn shop, assaulted a male employee, and demanded money. The employee was not injured, and the suspects fled without taking anything.

Suspected 'Tokuryu' Involvement and Further Investigations

The three suspects are believed to be part of the anonymous and fluid crime group 'Tokuryu', as evidence suggests they converged near the crime scene. While the Metropolitan Police Department has not disclosed whether the suspects admit to the charges, they are also investigating a separate robbery incident that occurred on the same day at a pawn shop in Katsushika Ward, where approximately 1.1 million yen was stolen. Authorities suspect the three men were involved in this incident as well.
