During the hearing, Democratic Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) grilled three Republican witnesses on former President Donald Trump's pardons of convicted fraudsters. Subsequently, Representative Nancy Mace (R-SC) and Chairman James Comer (R-KY) intervened to stop Pressley's line of questioning. Mace claimed that Pressley's questions had "gone off the rails."
