Ikebukuro Murder Suspect's Actions Revealed
In connection with the murder case that occurred at a commercial facility in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, it has been revealed that the suspect alternately stabbed the victim and himself. Suspect Hirokawa Daiki (26) is accused of murdering part-time employee Harukawa Moe (21) at the Pokemon Center located in Toshima Ward. The suspect is reported to have died by suicide after the crime.
Security Camera Footage and Ongoing Investigation
According to investigative sources, security camera footage showed suspect Hirokawa Daiki alternately stabbing victim Harukawa Moe and himself until just before losing consciousness. Based on the condition of the body, victim Harukawa Moe is believed to have been stabbed over a dozen times. The Metropolitan Police Department views that suspect Hirokawa Daiki committed the crime with strong intent to kill and is thoroughly investigating the details of the incident.
