'Tokyo Dream Park' Opens: Where Dreams Begin
A new complex facility, 'Tokyo Dream Park,' that integrates entertainment and technology has been inaugurated in Ariake, Tokyo. At the opening ceremony held on March 25th in Koto Ward, Tokyo, Yo Hayakawa, Representative Director and Chairman of TV Asahi Holdings, declared the park open with the catchphrase "It begins in dreams."
Expectation for Bay Area Revitalization and New Entertainment Hub
'Tokyo Dream Park,' which TV Asahi officially opened on March 27th, is a multi-faceted entertainment facility featuring a multi-purpose hall that can accommodate over 5,300 people, as well as a theater capable of various performances, event spaces, and restaurants. Chairman Hayakawa stated, "We hope that the new experiences, culture, and entertainment born here, in conjunction with television, will contribute to the development of the Bay Area and enhance the charm and vitality of this new city."
Furthermore, Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike remarked at the ceremony that the Rinkai sub-center "boasts attractive waterfront and green landscapes, welcoming many visitors from both inside and outside Japan, and new arenas are opening, with the operation of next-generation mobility creating new flows of people." She expressed hope that 'Tokyo Dream Park' would contribute as a new entertainment hub.
