Russia Supplying Lethal Weapons and Aid to Iran: Western Intelligence Confirms
Russia Begins Supplying Drones and Lethal Weapons to Iran
According to Western intelligence reports, Russia is now sending drones, lethal weapons, food, and medicine to Iran. These phased deliveries are believed to have commenced earlier this month and are expected to conclude soon. Analysts suggest this move could be a reciprocal gesture, as Iran previously supplied drones to Russia for its conflict in Ukraine. The shipment of weapons, particularly drones, would mark the first evidence of Moscow's willingness to provide lethal support to Tehran.
Caspian Sea Route Utilized Amidst Nuclear Disaster Concerns
The Kremlin is also reportedly offering intelligence support and satellite imagery to its ally, Iran. The delivery process is said to utilize the Caspian Sea route, which was reportedly bombed by a combined US-Israeli force days after discussions began. Russia's Foreign Ministry has accused the US and Israel of attempting to spark a nuclear disaster with a second strike near Iran's nuclear power plant, forcing Moscow to evacuate most staff from the joint Iranian-Russian facility. This aid is intended to bolster Tehran's military capabilities and stabilize its regime.
