Tel Aviv Hit by Iranian Missile Strikes, Trump Halts Military Operations
Tel Aviv Suffers Extensive Damage from Iranian Missile Strikes
Tel Aviv bore the brunt of a fresh wave of Iranian missile strikes on March 24, causing extensive damage across the city. At least six people were wounded across four separate impact sites, with explosions rocking the city as air raid sirens blared across the Dan Region, the Sharon, the Shefela, and parts of the West Bank. Dramatic visuals from the ground showed crushed cars, one vehicle overturned, and debris-strewn streets. Emergency services confirmed multiple buildings and vehicles sustained significant damage. Security officials stated that one of the munitions carried nearly 100 kilograms of explosives, triggering widespread destruction.
Iran Continues Attacks as Trump Halts Military Strikes
Missile fragments were also reported in Rosh Ha'ayin, east of Tel Aviv, indicating a spread of impact zones. This marks the sixth barrage of missiles launched overnight, part of an ongoing series of Iranian attacks targeting multiple locations across Israel since midnight. As tensions continue to escalate, Israeli authorities remain on high alert, warning residents to stay close to shelters amid fears of further strikes. Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump announced a five-day halt to planned military strikes against Iran's power plants, citing "very good talks" with unnamed "respected Iranian officials" on ending hostilities. However, Iran denied any negotiations with the United States, with Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stating that such reports are "fake news" designed to manipulate financial and oil markets and help the U.S. and Israel escape their predicament.
