Weakening Iran's 'Will to War' and Economic Pressure

Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg (Ret.) argued that the U.S. must cut off Iran's economic lifeline to gain the upper hand in the 'will to war' conflict with Iran. He proposed seizing Kharg Island to cripple Iran's oil industry, which is worth $50 billion annually and accounts for 90% of Iran's total exports. He mentioned an operation involving U.S. Marines or airborne assaults to occupy Kharg Island, establish a provisional government, and open the Strait of Hormuz. Additionally, he emphasized the need to foment internal conflict between Iran's Revolutionary Guards and its regular army to overthrow the theocratic regime. Kellogg praised President Trump for his 'guts' and willingness to execute such decisive actions.

Iran's Missile Threat and Nuclear Capability Elimination

General Kellogg highlighted that Iran possesses the capability to strike distant targets like Diego Garcia with missiles, posing a serious threat across all of Europe. He warned that Iran is enriching uranium to nearly 80%, a level suitable for weapons, which would destabilize the Middle East. He stated that President Trump's efforts to eliminate the missile threat from Iran are essential to prevent nuclear proliferation in the Middle East. He added that President Trump received excellent advice from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Senator Marco Rubio, among others, in making these decisions.
