The Ministry of Employment and Labor reported that its artificial intelligence (AI)-based job matching service has successfully connected an average of 57 job seekers to employment daily. Following these achievements, the government plans to significantly expand AI employment services desired by job seekers and companies by 2026. The operational results and expansion plans were unveiled at the 'AI Employment Service Open Talk with Youth' held on March 20 at the Jeongdong 1928 Art Center.

Demand for Customized AI Services by Job Seekers

According to the demand survey, job seekers expressed the greatest need for AI services that assist with job preparation, including AI-based career planning, resume and cover letter consulting, and support for establishing job search activity plans. Specifically, individuals in their 20s to 40s showed high demand for resume and cover letter consulting, while those in their 50s prioritized lifecycle-specific career planning services.
