Exiled Iranian Crown Prince Ready to Lead Iran's Transition Post-Regime Fall
Exiled Crown Prince Prepares for Iran's Transition
Reza Pahlavi, the exiled Iranian Crown Prince, stated on Saturday that he is prepared to lead Iran's transition 'as soon as the Islamic Republic falls.' With the conflict in Iran entering its third week, he has been working to develop a transition plan to prevent governance disruption should the Iranian regime collapse. Pahlavi noted that 'capable individuals' have been identified both inside and outside Iran to lead what he calls a 'transitional system.'
Aim to Establish Order, Security, and Freedom
Pahlavi emphasized in a social media post that under his leadership, the transitional system will be ready to assume governance immediately after the Islamic Republic's fall. He aims to establish order, security, freedom, and conditions for Iran's prosperity in the shortest possible time, within the framework of the 'Iran Prosperity Project.' He also mentioned that many compatriots with valuable experience have declared their readiness to participate in rebuilding the country.
Supreme Leader's Death and Succession
In related developments, nearly 50 regime figures, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, have been killed since joint operations between the U.S. and Israel began. This week, Iran’s Assembly of Experts elected his son, Mojtaba Khamenei, as the country’s new supreme leader.
