The Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) announced today (28th) that North Korea fired over ten unidentified projectiles into the East Sea around 1:20 PM. The projectiles were identified as ballistic missiles launched from the Sunan area of North Korea. This marks a provocation approximately four months after North Korea last launched a ballistic missile into the East Sea on January 27.
Military Enhances Surveillance and International Cooperation
The South Korean military has intensified its surveillance and readiness in preparation for potential additional launches.
