4 Fun Activities for Kids in Singapore During March School Holidays
Indoor Fun and Unique Experiences for Kids
As the March school holidays approach in Singapore, four exciting activities for children have been highlighted. The first is 'Dopamine Land' located at WEAVE in Resort World Sentosa. This colorful and interactive exhibition features nine themed zones, including a dance floor, a cushion-filled battleground, a ball pit, rooms with floating balloons, and art sessions. Children particularly enjoyed the freedom to draw anywhere at the 'Scribblescape' area, including on tables, chairs, walls, and even the ceiling.
The second activity is a visit to 'Whole Snail' at 239 Pandan Loop, #09-20. This unique experience offers a hands-on opportunity to learn about snails, with one participant expressing surprise at discovering that a snail has 25,000 teeth. Kids can also engage in artistic activities by painting snail shells. The farm operates on Fridays and Saturdays, offering an educational and tactile experience.
Outdoor Adventures and Educational Exhibits
For outdoor enthusiasts, 'Bulim Park' in Jurong West provides a 3-story high playground with various climbing elements. There's also ample open space for cycling and skating. One child remarked that the large holes in the climbing structure added an exciting challenge. This park is accessible to the public for free, making it a great budget-friendly option.
Lastly, the ArtScience Museum hosts the 'Insects: Microsculptures Magnified' exhibition. This display showcases ultra-detailed portraits of insects and provides insights into insects found in Singapore. Children found it fascinating to view insects up close, highlighting the exhibition's educational value. The exhibition is open daily, with child tickets starting from $6.
