Fujiya Decides to Reduce Snack Package Colors
Fujiya has informed its business partners that it will reduce the number of printing colors used on snack packages, including for 'Country Ma'am' and 'Home Pie,' starting in July. The company stated that this change is an unavoidable measure to maintain product quality and ensure a stable supply.
Don Quijote Adopts White Packaging for Private Brand Products
The group operating Don Quijote will change the packaging of its private brand (PB) products to white in approximately 670 stores nationwide starting this month. The target items include 26 commonly used daily necessities such as mineral water and toilet paper. This strategy aims to reduce production costs by using fewer colors, thereby enabling the continuous sale of products at low prices. Don Quijote clarified that this packaging change is unrelated to the Middle East situation.
