Humanoid Robot Management Specification Released

China announced the 'Humanoid Robot Full Life Cycle Management Specification' at a work promotion conference for the humanoid robot full life cycle management platform held on the 22nd. This specification clearly outlines management requirements for humanoid robot products throughout their entire process, including production, circulation, maintenance, and recycling. Notably, all robots must be assigned a unique identification code, which cannot be altered or deregistered.

Enhanced Data and Recycling Management

Under the new specification, humanoid robots must ensure data integrity and consistency even after power cycles, and unauthorized components are prohibited. When recycling robots, physical destruction of control and drive systems is required to prevent reuse. A certification of destruction must be issued and submitted to the system, and recycling files need to be preserved long-term for future reference.
