Tesla's FSD Launch in China Intensifies EV Competition
Tesla FSD Enters Chinese Market
Tesla has officially rolled out its Full Self-Driving (FSD) system in China. This launch comes just one week after Elon Musk, CEO, visited Beijing as part of a state visit by US President Donald Trump. 'FSD Supervised' is now available in China and nine other countries, including the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea.
Intensified Competition in China's Autonomous Driving Market
The arrival of FSD in China is expected to escalate competition in the Chinese EV market, where Level 3 (L3) automated driving has been legalized. Tesla's FSD will further heat up the competition with domestic Chinese EV manufacturers and could influence global standards for autonomous driving technology.
