PNP Chief Denies Shooting Incident in Senate, Investigation Underway
Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Jose Melencio Nartatez categorically denied that PNP personnel fired shots inside the Senate on Wednesday night, May 13. Chief Nartatez assured the public that an investigation into the incident is forthcoming. He also disclosed that retired police general Mao Aplasca, the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms, had earlier contacted him seeking assistance.
