The report positively assesses that the 'value-for-money narrative' of Chinese AI companies is continuously materializing in terms of enterprise value and valuation, leading to a significant upward revision of the target prices for two leading AI companies in China.
Performance Evaluation of Major Chinese AI Models
The Morgan Stanley report indicates that despite computing power remaining a constraint, top AI models from both the US and China have achieved nearly equal levels on the Artificial Analysis intelligence index. Specifically, major Chinese AI models such as MiniMaxM2.7, ZhipuGLM-5.1, MoonshotK2.6, and DeepSeekV4 all fall within the 50 to 54-point range, signifying performance comparable to leading US models.
