Lebanese Border Town Devastated by Israeli Airstrikes; Paramedic Killed
Destruction Caused by Israeli Airstrikes
Israeli drones and fighter jets have been relentlessly bombing a southern Lebanese border town day and night, leaving the city in ruins. Debris is scattered everywhere, and houses have collapsed. A pickup truck was still burning after being hit by an Israeli airstrike, and a completely charred body was recovered from the wreckage. Even paramedics, accustomed to tragic scenes, were shocked by the horrific sight.
Paramedic Death and Rebuttal of Israeli Claims
BBC Correspondent Hugo Bachega visited the remains of a paramedic station destroyed by an Israeli airstrike. Ali Nasreddine, a paramedic from the Risala Scouts Association, reported that a colleague was killed in the strike. He stated that his colleague was speaking to his wife on the phone when the airstrike occurred. While Israel claims that some ambulances and health facilities are being used by Hezbollah, Ali Nasreddine vehemently denied this, calling it a false claim. He criticized Israel for attempting to conceal their actions.
