Madriaga testified that he sought Sara Duterte's help for farmers in Bataan who were facing land-grabbing issues. However, the Vice President reportedly told him she 'could not do anything' and refused to meet with the farmers' group. He later brought the matter to the attention of Attorney Reynold Munsayac, who was subsequently appointed as the spokesperson for the Office of the Vice President.
