Iran Launches Ballistic Missile Attacks on Tel Aviv and Central Israel, Two Injured
Iran's Missile Attacks on Israel and Damage Report
On Monday, April 6, 2026, Iran carried out ballistic missile attacks on Tel Aviv and central Israel. In Petah Tikva, a 34-year-old woman sustained serious injuries from missile fragments, while a man in his 30s in Tel Aviv suffered minor injuries from glass shards. The missiles were reportedly armed with cluster bombs, causing extensive damage and fires to several vehicles in a parking lot in Petah Tikva. Additionally, missiles struck residential areas and a factory in the port city of Haifa, where four people, including two children, were slightly injured. Magen David Adom, Israel’s medical emergency service, responded to the scenes, treating the injured and searching for survivors amidst the rubble.
Israel's Response and Escalating Tensions
The Israeli military issued warnings to the public on Monday morning about potential incoming missile barrages, marking the third such alert of the day. Israeli media reported that a seven-story residential building partially collapsed in Haifa, with fears of further collapse. Israel Defense Minister Israel Katz stated in a video message that Israel would pursue Iran's leadership and target the Islamic Republic's strategic assets if missile attacks on Israeli civilians continued. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also vowed to press ahead with the military campaign against Iran, signaling an escalation of the Middle East conflict.
